Cedar developments are committed in creating clear and tailored plans for each of our projects. We work in a number of different areas of construction including the creation of bespoke features.
We have our own workshop area we use for the creation of bespoke pieces. This allows us to craft items off-site and bring them in ready to be installed, we use this on many projects and have completed it for items such as: staircases, bookshelves, doors and cabinets. Having our own workshop facilities means we can provide a better service to our clients, manufacturing off site allows for there to be less disruption when on site and works being completed quicker.
BESPOKE JOINERY PROCESS
1. CONSULTATION
Our bespoke carpentry service starts with an in-depth consultation. Within this we will discuss your aims, specifications and desires for your one-off piece. All information will be accounted to make the idea into creation.
2. 3D RENDERING
We will take all your ideas and specifications to the computer and create both a 2D technical drawing and a 3D render image. This allows you to vision and see all sizes clearly before starting and committing on works.
3. CEDAR WORKSHOP CONSTRUCTION
Working from scaled drawings we will begin the manufacturing in our Edinburgh workshop. Combining hand and power tools we use the correct system for the perfect finish. Our spray booth allows us to apply any RAL colour.
4. INSTALLATION
Once all has been crafted off site, we will deliver your piece and install. Our onsite carpenters will assemble and fit to your exact location. Ensuring a great finish, our decorators will come round to give final touches after installation.
