Cedar have recently completed a full renovation of our basement flat. It is a very old property which presented a number of challenges. From the outset Hamish and the Cedar Team impressed us with their thoughtful and professional approach. Communication was excellent throughout and we were encouraged to visit the site and discuss progress – everyone on the team was approachable, whilst the site was kept neat and tidy. Any challenges that arose were fully discussed, with flexible and pragmatic solutions arrived at. Cedar were always willing to spend time discussing the options with us and supportive of the decisions made. Cedar worked creatively and collaboratively to realise our ideas, whilst project and cost management were exemplary. Cedar’s joiners, led expertly by Cal created a new bathroom/utility room, bespoke sliding doors and birch ply wardrobes which are all functional and stylish. Overall the professionalism and attention to detail on the was job second to none. It’s been a real pleasure to have Hamish and everyone at Cedar work on our home – thanks! Hilda & Craig

Cedar carried out an all-trades, full kitchen, utility and office/snug renovation in our flat. The work included rewiring, floor sanding and decoration throughout, and opening up access from the kitchen out to the garden. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Professional but personal, they were a pleasure to work with and have on site at all times. They have a sharp attention to detail from initial contact to final snagging and nothing was too much trouble, going above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the final results. I would happily work with the whole team again, I just need to find the next project… :-)

Worked with Cedar to construct and outdoor office. The workmanship was absolutely first class and we’re thrilled with the end result. Also, the project management was excellent, we were kept informed of the timeline, any challenges and it was clear that the team really cared.
