Design, Permissions & Remote Management
Our team spearheaded the entire design phase, including securing all necessary council permissions and heritage consents required for a listed property. The scope of our interior design service extended from detailed technical drawings and spatial planning through to the final curated selection of soft furnishings, providing the client with a move-in-ready home. Managing the project for an overseas client required absolute transparency; all communication and project updates were handled online by our Edinburgh-based team, allowing for a stress-free experience for the homeowner as we acted as the single point of contact for every phase of the transformation.
Listed Building Restoration & All-Trades
As a listed property, the work required a sensitive touch to preserve traditional character while updating modern services for contemporary living. We carried out a full electrical rewire, professional floor sanding, and the installation of new sash and case windows to improve performance without compromising the historic aesthetic. From structural plastering and joinery to final decorating, we managed every specialist trade in-house. This integrated approach ensured that the restoration of original features was executed to our exacting standards, resulting in a cohesive finish that respects the New Town heritage of the property.
